SMS Terms & Messaging Policy

Program description

Rasmussen Systems and businesses that use our software send SMS text messages for transactional and customer-service purposes, including appointment reminders, job status updates, dispatch notifications, invoice and payment links, delivery confirmations, and account alerts. Messages are sent through Twilio.

How you opt in

You provide express written consent to receive SMS messages by one of the following methods:

• Checking an opt-in checkbox on a web form (for example, on our contact form or inside your business's booking or customer portal) that clearly states you agree to receive SMS at the number you provide.
• Texting a keyword such as START, YES, or JOIN to a number published by the business.
• Signing a paper or electronic form that discloses the SMS program.

Consent is not a condition of purchase. You do not have to agree to receive SMS in order to buy anything, and we do not require consent as a condition of employment or service.

Message frequency and fees

Message frequency varies depending on the business you interact with and the events tied to your account (typically 1–10 messages per transaction or job). Message and data rates may apply. Check your mobile plan for details. Rasmussen Systems is not responsible for carrier charges.

How to opt out (STOP)

You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Reply STOP to any message. After you send STOP, we will send a single confirmation message and you will not receive additional SMS from that program. If you want to rejoin, sign up again as described above or reply START.

Help (HELP)

Reply HELP to any message for assistance, or email ras.systemsolutions@gmail.com. You will receive a text with the program name and support contact.

Supported carriers

The service is available on major U.S. carriers including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless, Sprint, U.S. Cellular, Boost, MetroPCS, Cricket, and Google Fi. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is subject to effective transmission by your wireless service provider and is not guaranteed.

Privacy and data sharing

We collect your phone number and the content and metadata of messages you exchange with us in order to operate the SMS program. We share this information only with our messaging provider (Twilio) as needed to deliver messages, and with law enforcement when legally required.

Mobile opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. We do not sell your phone number or SMS content. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.

• "Rasmussen Systems: Your crew is scheduled for Tue 10:00 AM. Reply C to confirm, R to reschedule. Reply STOP to opt out."
• "Invoice #1042 for $480 is ready. Pay: https://…/i/abc123. Reply HELP for help, STOP to unsubscribe."
• "Your technician is 15 min out. Msg&data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out."

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and the account holder or authorized user of the mobile phone number you enroll.
